The Global Fight Against Injustice

This powerful tribute poster honors Geronimo "Ji Jaga" Pratt (1947-2011), a prominent leader in the Black Panther Party, using a bold, diagonal split of red and green to frame iconic imagery of a black panther and a raised fist. The artwork is anchored by a profound 1987 statement read on his behalf during a parole demonstration, which connects his personal struggle to a global fight against systemic oppression. By referencing resistance movements in Azania, Ireland, El Salvador, and Chile, the quote highlights how governments worldwide often criminalize those who dare to challenge racism and injustice. Ultimately, the poster serves as a timeless reminder of the universal human right to exist, resist, and struggle for freedom, cementing Pratt's legacy as a symbol of international solidarity and unyielding defiance.
