Our Mission

Black Magick Matters exists to awaken what has been buried, question what has been inherited, and transform hidden knowledge into lived power. Rooted in metaphysics, ancient spiritual traditions, occult wisdom, and ancestral memory, we create metaphysical streetwear apparel and art that help people reclaim authority, protect their energy, and live with intention. Our work is for seekers, practitioners, magickians, independent thinkers and average everyday people who are committed to deeper knowledge and conscious transformation. Every piece carries a symbol, principle, or reminder of who you are becoming and what you intend to manifest. This is more than apparel—it is wearable metaphysics. 

Our Roots

Black Magick Matters is rooted in the spiritual, metaphysical, and ancestral traditions of Africa and its diaspora—and in the generations who carried knowledge, symbolism, ritual, and ways of understanding the unseen forward despite displacement, suppression, and change. We approach that inheritance with respect, curiosity, and reverence, not as costume, caricature, or decoration. Our work connects ancestral memory with contemporary metaphysical thought, creating space for both the seeker discovering these ideas and the practitioner who already understands their depth. We honor what came before by continuing to question, learn, reclaim, transform, and create. The past is not something we simply remember; it is something we consciously carry forward.

Black Magick Matters was created for Black Magickians, occult practitioners, metaphysicians, spiritual seekers, ancestral knowledge keepers, independent thinkers, revolutionaries and those questioning what they were taught and searching for deeper understanding. We are building a community where ancient wisdom, metaphysical exploration, spiritual practice, Black consciousness, and conscious/subconscious transformation can exist without being diluted, caricatured, hidden or feared.
