Afrika Before and After

This evocative poster centers on a profound quote by Dr. Ivan Van Sertima, framed by the word "AFRIKA" spelled out in bold, Pan-African hues of green and gold. The text challenges the internalized narrative of inferiority, distinguishing between the "looted, shattered Afrika" often perceived through a colonial lens and the rich, scientific civilization that existed before the "holocausts." Surrounding the central text is a vibrant collage of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and artwork, visually reinforcing the deep historical roots and contributions of African civilization that the quote seeks to reclaim and honor.
